Ian is a highly motivated, ethical entrepreneur experienced in early stage high growth companies, fundraising and strategic planning.

Ian brings an intimate understanding of the current opportunities and challenges in the emerging global hemp industry in addition to a portfolio of intellectual property, partnerships and assets. Ian has consulted and worked in five states and three countries and has played a pivotal role in the development of a portfolio of products, processing methods and intellectual property in the space.

Ian has overseen the launch of HempFusion the first mainstream hemp based supplements to gain traction in the natural products category and MetaCan Professional first in the healthcare professional category. He has raised seed and growth stage capital and participated in the development of complex and highly regulated supply chains. In addition to the supplement and practitioner products focus he has successfully negotiated licensing contracts and partnerships with distributors and manufactures and operates with a familiarity with what is required to successfully expand in highly regulated markets domestically and internationally.

Dr. Jason Mitchell is a Naturopathic Doctor certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. He is also a member of the American Naturopathic Medical Association and Certified Natural Health Professionals. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management/Operations from Arizona State University and his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Trinity College of Natural Health.

Jason has over two decades experience working in the natural products industry. In 1998 he joined industry leader Country Life Vitamins as an Account Executive/New Product Development Liaison. By 2003 he was promoted to Director of Product Development and then to VP of Sales/New Product Development. By 2005, he developed and launched a full-scale educational program for Country Life. He was one of the primary executives to take the company successfully through its acquisition by Kikkoman Corporation, and was then promoted to the position of Chief Science Officer. Over the course of his career, he has successfully launched more than 200 new products, many of which have become top selling products at the retail level.

Jason’s role at MetaCan is the creation, marketing and distribution of the company’s branded line of hemp derived dietary supplement products.

As Chief Technology Officer Andrew is an expert in the design, certification, installation and operation of extraction systems, and has participated in the development and management of a vast intellectual property portfolio covering hardware and systems for the production, standardization and scaling requirements of a full array of products.

Andrew is a high-energy, goal-oriented executive with a proven track record of industry firsts in distillation, purification of essential oils, critical phase carbon dioxide botanical fractionation systems design, and business operations.

His experience includes facility management, hardware maintenance, information technology and network systems, sales, operations, and project management.

Debbie is a channel and distribution expert with an extensive background in executive level business management, sales and marketing. She has experience with all channels of trade, and specializes in mainstream retail, and business strategy execution. Her diverse background experience includes the rare combination of retail and packaged goods.

Debbie’s 30-year expertise is built upon her professional roles in high-level businesses in the consumer packaged goods industry. She began with sales and management positions for Tropicana Juices (PepsiCo) and Sundance Juice Sparklers (Stroh). She then transitioned to the retail side of the industry at 7-Eleven, Inc. as Senior Director for Vault and Proprietary Beverages. Debbie was responsible for $3.3 billion or 40 percent of merchandise sales for more than 5,500 stores. She also served as Director for Snacks and Grocery products. As she followed her passion for the industry, she became the General Manager for retail sales for The FRS Company.

Debbie has served as consultant and has held key management positions with start-up brands. She most recently served as CEO of Bazi, Inc., a public nutritional shot company.

Ryan is a successful sales and account management leader with more than ten years experience in the field. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, he went on to manage several businesses, including a consumer electronics company where he successfully oversaw a portfolio of 100+ international distributors and direct retail customers while increasing revenue two-fold in two-years time.

Ryan is able to apply his experience in business development and logistics along with his lifelong as passion for natural and alternative medicines to create and execute the strategies needed to illuminate the global Supplement Marketplace.

His gentle confidence and thorough expertise has made him an asset in each arena he finds himself in.  He is knowledgeable and encouraging in his approach to educating customers about the benefits of products and services, and finds true satisfaction in building long-term relationships that lead to increased revenue year after year.
